Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Maybecoded for using Sparcd. Creating an account means accepting them.
1. Who we are
Sparcd is operated by Maybecoded (India), contactable at sparcd@maybecoded.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sparcd, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms on your own behalf. If you are not, do not create an account.
3. Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give a real email address — it is the only way we can reach you about your account. One account per person.
4. What the service does
Sparcd breaks one goal into small daily tasks and rebuilds the plan when you miss a day. Plans are generated automatically and are suggestions, not instructions. You decide what to actually do.
5. It is not professional advice
Sparcd is a planning tool. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not use it to manage a medical condition. If a goal touches your health, talk to a clinician first. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency service.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Sparcd to plan or pursue anything unlawful, or anything intended to harm yourself or another person. Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or scrape the service, use it to train a competing model, or access another person's account. We may suspend or close an account that does.
7. Automatically generated content
Plans, tasks, and weekly reviews are produced by an AI model. They can be wrong, unsuitable, or occasionally strange. Read them with judgment; you remain responsible for what you choose to do. We do not guarantee that any plan will achieve any particular outcome.
8. Your content
Your goals, tasks, and evidence remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you — to store your content, process it (including sending goal and task content to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy), and show it back to you. We do not publish your content or use it to advertise.
9. Subscriptions and payment
Sparcd has a free tier. Pro is a paid subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and billing is handled by that store, not by us — we never see your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel through your app store account; deleting the Sparcd app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are governed by the policy of the store you bought through. If a paid feature is withdrawn during a period you have paid for, write to us.
Free-tier limits, including any trial of the full AI experience, are described in the app and may change for new goals. We will not remove access you have already paid for.
10. Service availability
Sparcd is offered as-is and as-available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may be added, changed, or removed. We may need to take the service down for maintenance. If we discontinue Sparcd entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
11. Ending the agreement
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Export first if you want a copy. We may close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would be unlawful.
12. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Maybecoded is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms displaces it.
13. Changes to these terms
The version at the top of this page changes when these terms change materially. Your account records the version you accepted, and the app asks you to review a material change before you continue. Continuing to use Sparcd after that means accepting the new version.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
